Countdown for OBS Studio

Add a "stream starting soon" or BRB countdown overlay to OBS Studio as a browser source — works for Twitch, YouTube Live, Kick. You can also open the countdown in fullscreen on a second monitor to keep an eye on the timer while you manage your stream.

How to integrate

    Create your countdown on Countz.io with a transparent or dark background and copy the embed URL.

    Open OBS Studio and select the scene where you want the timer (e.g. "Starting Soon").

  3. 03

    Click "+" under Sources, add a "Browser" source, and paste the embed URL.

  4. 04

    Set the width to 1920 and height to 1080 (or your stream resolution) and click OK.

  5. 05

    Resize and position the countdown anywhere on your scene.

    Tip: open the countdown page in fullscreen on a second monitor so you always see the timer while managing OBS.
